Privacy notice

Draft for attorney review. Last updated October 26, 2026.

This notice covers responsemark.com and firehelm.responsemark.com, run by ResponseMark of Bozeman, Montana.

Visiting the public pages

The company and FireHelm pages don’t use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and the pages requested) for a short time to run and secure the site. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it sends them.

Signing a confidentiality agreement

When you sign at responsemark.com/access, we collect your name, title, company, work email, typed signature, the time you signed, your IP address and your browser type. We use them only to keep a record of the agreement, to give you access to the materials and to contact you about them. The record is kept in our hosting logs and sent by email to ResponseMark and to you (through our email provider, Resend).

We keep signature records for as long as the agreement can be enforced, which is at least three years after signing. We don’t sell or share them, except with our service providers as needed to run the site, or when the law requires it.

Cookies after you sign

Signing sets two cookies in your browser for 30 days: one that proves you signed (it can’t be read by the page’s scripts), and one holding your name, company and signing time so the pages can show who they were shared with. Choose “Sign out” to remove both.

The FireHelm app

The app at firehelm.responsemark.com is used by invited defense firms, crews and insurers. What it stores, and who can see it, is set out in each customer’s agreement. The demo (?demo) runs on sample data in your browser and sends nothing to us.

Your choices and contact

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted where the law allows, email carisafisher@gmail.com.
