Home Record · for homeowners and buyers
Everything about your home’s readiness, in one sealed place
A guided walkthrough on your phone, a record nobody can quietly change, and a link you can share with anyone who needs proof.
Zone by zone
Step-by-step prompts for the 0–5 ft, 5–30 ft and 30–100 ft zones, roof, vents, eaves, deck and fencing.
Dated and tamper-evident
Every photo carries its time and location and is sealed by FireHelm, so anyone can check nothing changed afterward.
Upgrades and receipts
Log each fix with its date, cost and invoice, so the money you put in is on record.
Home inventory
Room-by-room photos and video of your belongings, stored safely off the property for an insurance claim.
One link for anyone
Send your insurer, agent, appraiser or buyer a link that shows the record and proves it’s intact.
Passes to the next owner
When you sell, transfer the whole record to the buyer, history included. A reminder each spring keeps it current.
Clearly labeled as yours. Useful for your own records, your insurer and a buyer, and free to update any time.
A vetted local pro inspects the item on site and records it. The strongest proof, and one tap to book.
The seal
FireHelm Verified
Every Home Check record is sealed by FireHelm, the record system ResponseMark built for wildfire defense crews. The same seal goes on a contractor’s spring check and on a crew’s fire-day visit, so your insurer, agent and buyer only have one mark to learn and trust.
It shows the record is intact and who recorded each item, and when. It isn’t a certification or an inspection.
The property passport
One record for the life of your home
Before, during and after a fire, everything that happens to your home’s wildfire readiness lands in one sealed record that stays with the address, through every sale.
You document the home, or a network pro checks it.
Photos and receipts for each upgrade, dated and sealed.
With your permission, crews protecting your home see the gate code, water, hazards and photos.
A post-fire check records what survived; your inventory and “before” photos back up a claim.
The full history passes to the buyer, still verifiable by anyone you share it with.

Your street
Your home is only as ready as your street
Wildfire often spreads from house to house. Home Check helps neighbors get ready together, and makes it cheaper when you do.
- See your street’s readinessHow many nearby homes have been checked and fixed, as a simple count. Neighbors never see your address or your details.
- Book together, pay lessWhen several neighbors book the same week, everyone gets a lower price, because the pro serves the whole street in one trip.
- Invite a neighbor in one tapShare a link with the people next door. Every home that gets ready makes yours safer too.
- Work toward community discountsStreets and HOAs can use their combined record for Firewise recognition and insurer programs that reward whole communities.

Questions
What does “FireHelm Verified” mean?
FireHelm is the record system ResponseMark built for wildfire defense crews, and Home Check runs on it. The seal means each photo and note was sealed with its time and place when it was recorded, and anyone with your share link can check online that nothing has changed since.
Is a Home Check record an official certification?
No. It shows exactly who documented or checked each item and when, sealed so it can’t be changed without it showing. Official designations and fire agency inspections are separate; a record can help you prepare for them and keep the proof.
Will my insurer give me a discount?
Each insurer sets its own discounts, and many now reward verified mitigation. A dated record with photos, and especially items checked by a pro, gives your insurer what it needs to see. We can’t promise a discount.
When is it available, and where?
We’re opening area by area from spring 2027, starting where we have network contractors. Request early access and we’ll tell you when it reaches you.
How do you choose contractors?
Network contractors are hand-picked to start. They need a license where the work requires one, liability insurance on file and training on the checklist, and every job they do is photographed and sealed, so quality shows.
What happens to my record when I sell?
You can transfer it to the buyer with its full history, or keep a copy for yourself. Buyers can also start their own record at purchase.
Will my neighbors see my record?
No. Your street’s readiness is shown only as a count of homes, and only for streets with enough homes taking part that no one can be singled out. Your address, photos and details stay private unless you share them.
Who sees my record on fire day?
Only if you turn it on: crews protecting your home during a fire can see what they need (gate code, water, hazards and photos). You can turn it off any time.
Who can see my record?
Only you, and anyone you send a share link to. Contractors see the homes they’re booked for. We never sell your information.
